At some point in his history, Purdue Pete exchanged a cap for a hard hat in roughly the 1980's. Still, he's always got his trusty hammer on hand, even when he's giving a nod to Boiler Ball. If he uses his hammer, is it a foul? We're not sure, but he looks pretty cool anyway.
